This graphic design piece was created in Cinema 4D using a rounded cube that follows the path of the laces using the spline wrap deformer. The laces are also enhanced with a bulge and bend deformer as well to make the laces thicker in the middle. A procedural shader (EnhanceC4D Lite) from biomekk.com was used to create the texture on the laces.
